Residential Structured Wiring

Whether new construction or remodel.

We can help you with all your structured wiring and installs. Planning and prewiring during construction is essential in saving time and money on your project.

We can run all of the following cables you need:

Cat6a structured cabling

23 AWG, plenum-rated where required. Drops to every room. 10GbE to 100m, PoE++ 90W ready.

Coax (RG6 quad-shield)

Where it still matters — security panel cellular, satellite, and OTA antenna drops at the attic.

Speaker pre-wire

16 or 14 AWG, home-run to the rack location. Ceiling, in-wall, and exterior zones — tested for shorts and labeled.

Camera & doorbell drops

PoE-ready Cat6a to every camera location and entry door. Stubs at eaves and corners you might add later.

Structured media enclosure

Leviton or Channel Vision can, sized for the home. Patch panel, PoE switch, and a labeled schedule taped to the door.

Conduit / smurf tube

From the rack to spots you can’t predict — theater wall, primary office, garage. For the standard that comes next.

From the field

Real installs. Honest documentation.

Every drop labeled, every run photographed, every closet diagrammed. You get the install AND the documentation.

Why pre-wire now

The cheapest time is before the drywall.

Cable pulled at rough-in costs a fraction of a retrofit, and the spec stays current for decades — Cat6a carries 10GbE to 100 m and PoE++ at 90 W today. Pre-wiring also avoids the “WiFi everything” trap most homes outgrow inside five years.

  • Cheaper once, behind drywall. No drywall patching, no fishing walls later.
  • Future-proof to current standards. Cat6a → 10GbE, PoE++ 90 W for APs, cameras, panels.
  • Wired beats wireless where it counts. APs, cameras, TVs, panels — all happier on copper.
